After months of designing, writing, photography and general hard
work, we at Reuven Gitter Jewelers are proud to present you with
our brand new website. For those of you who have shopped with us
before, we hope that our new site design offers you a more
enjoyable browsing experience, with better pictures, current stock,
and more of the information you're looking for. For those of you
new to Reuven Gitter, we've designed our site to be a strong
introduction to our store, showing off both our extensive
collection and also offering a look at our custom jewelry
portfolio.
Some of the features we've added in this new website are as
follows:
- A stronger search feature - Search is now powered primarily
through keywords, which allows you to search for something broad
"platinum" and see all of our platinum pieces, or someting as
specific as "shared prong sapphire eternity", and see fewer pieces
that fall under those exact parameters.
- Better categories - Our jewelery is now divided into
basic categories, such as rings, earrings, and necklaces. You can
then look into subsections for more specific categories like
diamond bands or semi mounts.
- A custom portfolio - We pride ourselves on our custom work, and
by having a section on the site to display some of our best
examples, we're able to show off what we're capable of making for
you. We're constantly working, so expect updates with our latest
custom work as you continue to browse our site.
- A diamond education section - We've made information on the 4
c's of diamonds available (cut, carat weight, clarity, and color),
and in the coming months we'll be establishing an online diamond
inventory so you can have up to date access to our current diamond
inventory.
- A news ticker - At the bottom of our front page, we have
rotating headlines for our latest news items. Keep an eye on the
headlines as time goes on for future specials and promotions!
There are many more little features we've added to improve your
web browsing experience, and we hope that you enjoy discovering
them all as much as we enjoyed creating them. Please take a look
around and let us know what you think!
